Annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols

The evening of Tuesday 12th December saw the Grosvenor community, past and present, congregate in the impressive surroundings of St. Anne’s Cathedral to participate in its annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.

The music provided by the Choir, conducted by Head of Music Miss Rosemary Foster and accompanied by fellow Music teacher Mr Jonathan Arnold, provided the perfect backdrop to a memorable evening of worship which also saw pupils in years eight - twelve, as well as Head Girl Ellie Burgess, Head Boy Shaw and the School’s Principal, Dr. Frances Vasey, deliver the Nine Lessons telling of Jesus’ birth.  

As always, those in attendance were treated to a selection of outstanding performances from the School’s talented choristers.

It was particularly wonderful to see so many past members of the GGS Community in attendance.

Congratulations to everybody who helped to make the Carol Service such a memorable, entertaining and enjoyable occasion.
