Diamond Jubilee Tree Planting
On Tuesday 12th June a number of Grosvenor pupils, accompanied by Headmaster Mr Robin McLoughlin, attended a tree planting ceremony in Orangefield Park in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The Queen, who acceded to the throne only seven years after Grosvenor itself was established in 1945, was recognised for her 60 years on the throne at an event hosted by Lord Mayor Gavin Robinson, himself a former Grosvenor pupil who departed the school in 2003.
