Congratulations to the numerous Grosvenor pupils who achieved success at the highly competitive ‘Junior Foil Series’ Fencing Competition, held in the school on Saturday 21st January.

The event was well attended and saw a number of individuals deliver impressive performances.  In the Under 14 Boys’ competition Form One pupil Jonathan Little achieved a gold medal, followed closely by silver medalist Gareth Reid, Form 3.  In addition. Stewart McClune, also Form 3, achieved joint 3rd place, narrowly edging out classmate Ryan Simpson, who was unlucky to finish in 5th position. 

Elsewhere, Mark Woods and David Eve (both Form 1) secured silver and bronze medals respectively in the Under 12 Boys’ competition, in what proved to be another hugely successful day for Grosvenor's talented fencers.
