Congratulations to Grosvenor athletes Andrew Wright and Matthew Hedley who were each selected to represent Ulster at the Irish Schools’ Interprovincial Championships on Saturday 23rd June. 

Competing in Santry, Dublin, Andrew ran superbly to finish third in the Intermediate Boys’ 800 metres with a time of 2.00.4 minutes, while Matthew placed 6th in the Intermediate Boys’ Triple Jump with an effort of 11.73 metres.

For Matthew and Andrew, both of whom placed 2nd at this year’s Ulster School’s Athletics Championships and 4th at the recent Irish Championships, their performances rounded off another stellar season on the track and in the field respectively.

We look forward to further success from Andrew and Matthew next year.
