Mourne Cup Semi Final
Congratulations to Grosvenor’s Under 13 cricket team which enjoyed a convincing victory over Wallace High School in the semi final of the Mourne Cup on Monday 25th June.
Fielding first, a disciplined bowling performance saw the visitors dismissed for a lowly 33, with Craig Irvine (3-4) the pick of the Grosvenor bowlers, ably supported by Stuart Nelson (1-10), Lewis Cunningham (2-10), Cameron Knell (1-5) and Joshua Kelly (1-4).
With such a small target set for victory Grosvenor became strong favourites and their top order batsmen made no mistake, with top scorer Craig Irvine (17) helping them to a comfortable victory for the loss of just one wicket.
Congratulations to Grosvenor on reaching the final of the competition against R.B.A.I. on Wednesday 27th June – all within the School wish its players the best of luck for this encounter.
