Paris Trip
On Friday 29th June 22 of Grosvenor's French students from forms 3 and 4, accompanied by Mr Brittain, Mrs Hunniford and Mr Cowan, returned from their action-packed three day trip to Paris during which they visited a range of famous sites and revelled in the ambience and picturesque beauty of Paris in summertime.
Within a jam-packed schedule highlights of the trip included a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral on the evening of Tuesday 26th, visits to the Louvre, the Champs Elysées and the Tuileries the following day, a boat trip on the Seine followed by a visit to the Eiffel Tower on Thursday 28th and lunch at the Jardins de Luxembourg prior to departure on the Friday.
Many thanks to Mrs Hunniford whose thorough organisation and careful planning of this educational trip made it so enjoyable and worthwhile – it afforded an opportunity to those students present that will benefit them long-term in their future education.
