Library Club

In the Library, the pupil librarians and the Librarian run Book clubs at lunchtime, Comics club on Wednesdays and a Mindfulness club on Fridays lunchtime as well as Homework clubs every Monday to Thursday after school.

Book Club takes place on Tuesday lunchtime for juniors and Thursday lunchtime for seniors. It involves the following:

·      informal exchange of reading recommendations to engage readers into getting to know each other and reading for pleasure;

·      participation in Book Awards schemes and World Book Day; and

·      guest speakers: teachers, authors and translators.

Comics Club takes place on Wednesdays during lunch and involves:

·      exchanging Comics recommendations;

·      participation in Stan Lee Excelsior Award, International Comic festivals; and

·      guest speakers: authors and illustrators.

Mindfulness Club takes place on Fridays during Lunchtime and involves crafts, music and meditation.
