Overview

Netball is one of the winter sports offered in Grosvenor and has a good tradition of high number of participants representing school in various teams. All Netball teams receive one after school practice a week and several games sessions throughout the year. From Year 8 to Year 14 all teams are entered into the Belfast league giving girls the opportunity to play fixtures against a number of schools. Pupils then have the opportunity to qualify for play offs and finals.

Netball within Grosvenor has a team of dedicated staff who deliver the Netball program weekly. The aim of all coaches is to help each girl reach their netballing potential and learn skills that improve their performance individually and collectively as a team. It is the desire also that girls make the transition from playing netball for Grosvenor to also playing for one of the clubs in our local area.
