District Cross Country Championships 2026

Congratulations to the School’s cross country runners who performed impressively at the District Championships, held last week in Downpatrick.

The standout performance of the day came from the Mini Girls Team, which placed first overall thanks to some superb performances, with Ellie McMillan (3rd), Lexi Reid (5th) and Erin Dunn (11th) leading the way, ably supported by Hannah Lozano, Fausta Gervyte, Daisie Poole and Olivia Johnston.

Elsewhere, further impressive performances came from Ellie Hollywood (11th, Inter Girls), Jaxon Davison (15th, Mini Boys), Ewan Ewart (8th, Minor Boys) and Alex Stevenson (6th, Junior Boys).

We wish all of the above the best of luck at the forthcoming Ulster Schools’ Championships, to be held in Mallusk on Wednesday 18th February.
