Lee Family Shield and Bursary Award 2025

Congratulations to musicians Katie Smyth (Year 13) and Daniel Major (Class of 2025) who have been jointly awarded the Lee Family Shield and Bursary Award.

The Award is named after Grosvenor's first ever Head of Music, the late Ronnie Lee OBE, whose family generously present an annual music bursary to assist worthy music students with their studies at a high level.

For Katie, who plays double bass and cello, and Daniel, who plays the trumpet, this serves as deserved recognition of both their impressive talent and their dedication to GGS Music over many years.
