'Young Kelvin Prize 2025'

Congratulations to Patryk Piotrowski, Year 14, who was the recent recipient of the prestigious 'Young Kelvin Prize 2025', awarded by the Ulster-Scots Agency, in partnership with the Institute of Physics.

Patryk was victorious in the 'Best Physics Knowledge' category, and was rewarded for demonstrating exceptional insight relating to the work of Lord Kelvin (William Thomson), who earned many accolades during his scientific career.

As well as his trophy, presented at Parliament Buildings this week, Patryk also received a £500 cash prize in recognition of his achievement.
