'New Views' Script Writing Workshop

This week saw the school welcome Alice Malseed, a prominent Northern Irish playwright, to GGS as she conducted a script writing workshop with several of our students.

The workshop was delivered in conjunction with 'New Views’, a year-long in-school playwriting programme for students aged 14-19. This sees each school paired with a professional playwright who supports students to write their own original plays.

Many thanks to Alice for taking the time to assist our students as they embark upon a dramaturgy journey that may well lead some of them to the stage of the National Theatre in July 2026.
